Q: Will my towels get softer over time?
A: Yes — this is one of the defining qualities of genuine Turkish cotton. Most towels get rougher with repeated washing. Luzia towels do the opposite: the long fibers loosen and become more supple with each wash, resulting in towels that are noticeably softer after 20, 50, or 100 washes than they were when new.

Q: How do I wash my Turkish cotton towels?
A: Machine wash warm with similar colors. Use a gentle detergent. Tumble dry on low heat. Always wash before first use — this activates the cotton fibers and maximizes absorbency from day one.
Q: Can I use fabric softener on Turkish cotton towels?
A: We recommend against fabric softener. Softeners work by coating fibers with a waxy layer, which progressively reduces absorbency. Turkish cotton naturally softens with washing — no softener needed. If your towels feel stiff, try reducing detergent quantity; buildup is usually the cause.
Q: Can I bleach my Luzia towels?
A: Avoid bleach — it weakens the long cotton fibers over time and can cause discoloration in colored towels. For whites, a small amount of oxygen bleach (like OxiClean) used occasionally is a gentler alternative.

A: Yes. All U.S. orders of $49 or more ship free. Orders under $49 ship for a flat $3.95. Orders ship within 24 hours on business days (Monday through Friday) and arrive in 5–8 business days. Faster paid USPS and UPS options are also available at checkout.
